So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator laying on its front, with the petals visible

Fans of my blog will have seen my reviews for So Divine before; I adore their products. They’re cute, they always bring me pleasure and their team of people are simply lovely. I’d like to thank So Divine for sending me the Ooh La La Flower Vibrator in exchange for my honest review.

This shape of So Divine vibrator has been out for a little while now; it was formerly only available in pink. It’s been on my lust list for ages, I honestly don’t know why I don’t already have it! There’s something about its shape which is really appealing to me, the gentle curved shaft, the little buds, I think it’s just delightful. I’m enjoying this purple edition with its gold handle, it has a rather luxurious look.

Ooh La La!

The Ooh La La Flower vibrator is made from incredibly soft silicone, smooth and enjoyable to stroke. This might sound a bit odd, but it smells nice!! I don’t make a habit of sniffing my vibrators but this smells so lush, it’s got a gentle whiff of rubber. The petal design at the head resembles not only a flower, but a clitoris coming out of its hood. Maybe that’s why it’s so appealing! The texture is interesting; the folds in the silicone where the petals are look like they might be uncomfortable, but they’re not. I always use lube which makes any texture a bit more comfortable to use, so I’d recommend this but if you’re planning on using lube, ensure it’s water-based so it doesn’t react with the silicone.

It has magnetic clips to attach the USB charger to, but what I really love about So Divine is that they think of everything – in case if you don’t have something you can plug your USB cable into, they provide you with a proper 3 pin plug! Why do I get so excited about such things?! #nerd

It also comes with a thick and sturdy storage bag – ideal for use when travelling so it’s not too obvious you have a vibrator in your bag (unless you set it off by accident!), and for storage as it keeps dust and dirt off your vibrator. I have literally hundreds of toys so storage bags are vital, and this one has ‘So Divine’ written on the tag so you can see what it is before opening it. To a sex toy newbie that might not seem to be important, but when you have hundreds of toys in very similar storage bags and you have to play ‘feel the bag’ to guess which toy is in it, it can be quite time consuming when you really want to us something specific! Toy manufacturers who put their company or toy’s name on the bag know that the struggle is real ?

Play time!

I start on the lowest constant speed and I have a choice of 3. The lowest is a little rumbly and relatively quiet but the more you crank it up, it can get a bit shouty! The second and third constants are definitely buzzy. Buzzy vibrations irritate the tip of my nose (which is where I test them), but my clit rather enjoys them. Given the choice I am more of a rumbly fan as those vibrations run deeper and feel more powerful, but I can equally get off with something that vibrates at surface level.

As an ‘inny’

This worked pretty well on my clit so I decided one day to try it out as an ‘inny’ as I wanted to see how the petals felt inside me. I lubed it up – I always use lube with internal toys, water-based of course. It was a bit of a stretch at first due to the large head but once inside me, it felt quite comfortable. The size and shape of the vibe felt really good, and it fit snugly inside my pussy whilst I worked my clit with another toy.

However, the vibrations don’t float my boat (although they do float the man in it!!). They’re too weak and buzzy for me to really get off on using it internally and thrusting didn’t feel good either. This hasn’t put me off using it, but I’ll definitely be keeping this in the ‘outy’ drawer!!
