This silicone massage wand has a whopping 16 vibration modes. Only one of these modes is a constant speed which is a little disappointing for me as that’s my favourite pattern! The other patterns vary but are pretty standard and there are lots of options. Each of the 16 patterns can be turned up or down by using the top button, therefore you have a choice of 2 speeds for each pattern giving you 32 options in total. This upper button is called the ‘One Key Orgasm’ so I think the idea is that you use the pattern you like on the lower speed, and press the upper button just before you come to turn up the intensity. But I like the fact you can turn the intensity up or down whenever you feel like it (which is great for edging play).
The BestVibe wand is fully waterproof so you can use it in the shower or bath, if that’s your thing. I’ve never really found it appealing to take a vibrator into the shower, although I can see the appeal of getting all wet and soapy and then bringing yourself to a hugely satisfying climax whilst you’re soaking wet in every way! I think I am just lazy as I like to be laying down in bed! What I do love about waterproof toys though is how you can get them squeaky clean by holding them under a running tap.
If you like a toy that is whisper quiet so you can use it when you have other people in the house, then this might not be for you… it isn’t the quietest! It has two motors, which is probably why it’s quite loud. The silicone feels lovely and silky, it’s so smooth!
It’s possible to use both ends of the BestVibe wand which is one of the reasons I was drawn to it in the first place. The large head of the wand provides broader pleasure and is quite large so covers a lot of your vulva. I love using this for build-up, but to reach climax I need something more direct/pinpoint. So I switch it upside down and use the ‘handle’ end! This can be used on the very tip to get a great aim at your little love bud.
It’s possible to use the BestVibe wand on other areas of the body, of course, not just the ‘fun end’!! You can use either end on the nipples, balls, bum etc. If you like anal then it could be possible to insert the thinner end as the centre of the wand is slimmer, and the larger end should make it anally safe. However, I haven’t tried and tested it in this way so I can’t recommend this.
Size & Weight
It’s fairly big so I prefer to use this alone; trying to get it onto my clit when hubby is inside me isn’t overly easy, especially if he’s on top. My personal preference is to use something smaller, like a bullet, when I’m with hubby so it doesn’t get in the way. This is a pretty big and long wand. It’s fairly heavy too so you may find you get arm ache if your session is quite long.
The vibrations vary and one or two are quite rumbly, however I would say that in general the vibes are buzzier.
